Liberty Bay Festival 2026
May 29th-31st
The Liberty Bay Festival is a multi-day waterfront celebration of Poulsbo’s maritime heritage, local arts, and community spirit. This year’s centerpiece is the historic Virginia V steamship—a National Historic Landmark that will be docked at the Poulsbo Marina for public tours, educational programs, and VIP cruises.
The festival will feature live music, artisan vendors, food trucks, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly activities. It is designed to attract both locals and regional visitors, with a strong emphasis on cultural tourism and historical preservation.

Additionally, we offer a Holiday ‘Shop for a Cause,’ which allows you to purchase holiday gifts while helping us raise the funds necessary to host our event.

If you enjoy the Wooden Boat Festival and Viking Fest, you will love what we have planned for the Liberty Bay Festival. The Poulsbo Historical Society is partnering with the Port of Poulsbo to celebrate our local history. Attend to see historic boats such as the Virginia V and our own Poulsbo boats.
