The Heritage Museum captures the cultural heritage and daily lives of Poulsbo families. Changing exhibits provide visitors with a glimpse of the many facets of life in Poulsbo, from its early beginnings to the lively community it is today.

Musum Exhibits

Our museum space is smaller than our collection, therefore we endeavor to have two major exhibits per year to rotate artifacts in and out of storage. In addition, we have seven small exhibit areas that are semi-permanent with some artifacts changing from time to time.

Celebrate the 250 anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Join us to discuss Poulsbo’s history in relation to this historic milestone!

Discovering Printmaking in Poulsbo! It’s true! Our Heritage Museums is a printmaker’s dream come true! From newspaper-related archaeology stories to literal printmaking blocks (and the books and advertisements that were used to create) on display, we have a unique treasure-trove of artifacts in our collections! Come learn about early printmaking and enjoy a fun PHS-led craft!

Buy a Brick for a Foothold in Poulsbo’s History

Bricks will be arranged beneath the gazebo located on the lawn at the Heritage Museum.

 

Shop for a Cause!

We are excited to introduce our new fundraiser to support upcoming events next year, like our reimagined Liberty Bay Festival. We’ve worked together with photographer Karen Shields, and created our own designs! Our collection includes festive holiday sweaters, kids cloths, drinkware, and even wrapping paper. Shop for a cause this holiday season and help the Poulsbo Historical Society.
