Call for Artists

Poulsbo Historical Society, Poulsbo Maritime Museum and the Port of Poulsbo will host Maritime Week in
Poulsbo in July 2027. Starting with The Pacific Northwest Chris Craft Rendezvous July 8 – 11 and ending with
Liberty Bay Festival itself the following weekend of July 16 – 18 , we will create an unforgettable week
celebrating our maritime heritage and traditions here in Poulsbo.

This year we are reaching out to you, our local artist community, to create a poster that will be the featured
graphic for Liberty Bay Festival.

Details:

  • Submissions should represent our maritime heritage and be designed for use both as an event poster and for other merchandise.
  • All art must be hand-created. No AI please.
  • One submission per artist.
  • All submissions must be received by the Poulsbo Historical Society by no later than mid-night, Friday October 2nd.
  • All submissions must be in the form of an electronic print-ready file (.jpg, .png)
  • All submissions become the property of the Poulsbo Historical Society for licensing and commercial purposes.
Submissions will be judged by a selected group of local artists, the Poulsbo Historical Society, and the Port of Poulsbo on:
– Representation of the festival and our maritime heritage
– Inclusion of Poulsbo and PNW themes
